Preview (10:45 AM)

With the Olympic break behind them, the Flyers will embark on the grueling stretch drive of the regular season. The club carries a four-game winning streak into tonight's game in Tampa Bay, although there's not likely to be any carryover momentum this far removed from the home-and-home sweeps of New Jersey and Montreal prior to the break. It will now be up to the Flyers to put an end to the streakiness that marked the first five months of the regular season and play their best hockey on a more consistent basis.

In conjunction with Versus.com, Lightning blogger Jon Jordan and I have written head-to-head previews of tonight's game. The Flyers have typically struggled against Tampa, regardless of the club's respective records, but have handled the Bolts in all three previous games this season. This tilt is the final one of the season series.

The Flyers may have to do some juggling on their third defensive pairing tonight. Ryan Parent has not as yet been cleared to play and Oskars Bartulis sustained an undisclosed injury in Latvia's final game at the Olympics and is questionable for tonight.
