It's "Spouse Appreciation Day" according to my Channel 2 weatherman. In honor of it, I'm leaving my spouse at home while I go cover a hockey game. But how can I NOT?

Once again, Alexander The Gr8 graces our Coliseum ice leaving me so often amazed, amused and anguished. It should be a good fight, no matter what the outcome.

Andy Sutton will return to the line-up and that will be a bonus for Scott Gordon's bench. Good that Garth Snow told him not to change his game at all (as per Dan Martin from the Daily News) because personally I always said Sutton sometimes forgets he can use his size to his advantage. He will need to tonight.

Please, Hockey Gods, no more injuries. I am crossing my fingers for no more pools of blood on the ice that leave us wondering how long suspensions will be -- and then surprised WHEN THEY DON'T COME!!! Sean Bergenheim will be playing tonight with a full cage. Colin White paid a fine that was basically less than a steak dinner at Morton's. Justice? I think not.

Don't forget to follow all the #isles action on Twitter as well as @RobCarlinMSG and @KatieStrangNYI, especially if you can't watch the action.
