Now that Glen Murray has cleared waivers, I am being told that the winger is likely to be bought out by the Bruins. It is no secret that there are some who want to reunite Marray with Thornton in SJ. I am told the Bruins attempted a few creative solutions prior to opting for waiving and buying out Murray.

Glen's production has fallen off, but once bought out he will be a UFA...And at least five or six teams will be very hot on this guy. The two favorites are San Jose and Edmonton.

The Oilers tried, and some would say almost succeeded, in making a deal that would have sent Glen Murray to Edmonton two drafts ago in Columbus. "The deal fell apart at the VERY last second. the Oilers and Lowe were then (and remain still) very into Murray and the idea of making him an Oiler."

Other teams that will be pursuing Murray include: NJ, Ottawa, Pit, Dallas, and LA.

Want another name that may be returning to the NHL...Robert Esche. I am hearing rumours that the goalie that truly impressed everyone during his gig as America's goalie in these past Worlds could be heading back to the NHL. Teams interested include LA, Tampa, and Ottawa.

I for one remain a big Robert Esche fan and I believe the guy has every bit the makings of a major comeback into the NHL...

the Hockeybuzzcast Returns today at 4pm ET...

Talking to sources in Toronto yesterday it has become obvious to me that Jay Bouwmeester is VERY much available. Although I continue to hear that the Sens, Sabres, Avalanche, Blues and Kings have serious interest, one source told me that "In my opinion, and according to several of the scouts I have met with, the Maple Leafs, Bruins and Devils may be offering up the most.

On Sundin...A source told me that tonight there is "a buzz inside the Habs, and that a few are speculating that there may have been some movement regarding Sundin in the last hour." Take it for what it's worth!

Thanks for the many, many emails from you all regarding the Burt the Dog Video. I even heard it has been making the rounds in Sweden. It now has over 120,000 views so KEEP IT GOING!
