The Camden Courier post reports that the Flyers have hired retired defenseman Eric Desjardins as a "part-time developmental coach" for young players in the system.

Desjardins, who will continue to reside in Quebec, will attend the Flyers' upcoming prospect camp and then be available on an assignment basis.

It's nice to see Desjardins, who served the club so well as a player, return in some capacity.
