Scratch Jason Smith completely ... He will not be coming to Tampa, I've just been assured.

Someone missed a signal with that information earlier and that's okay once, I guess.

The terms on Recchi, as per TSN: 1 year, $1.25 million, potentially $1.5 with incentives.

Mark Recchi has signed a 1-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

That's right - another forward.

And my thinking now is that the message I received earlier may have confused a couple of players and their negotiations with the club.

Cue the watch for some forwards to be dealt out of Tampa real soon ...
