While it is possible former Wild Pavol Demitra could sign with the Canucks today, Brendan Morrison looks likely to remain "further out West" according to a great source. The source went on to tell me that he felt the LA Kings or Anaheim Ducks were "by far the most likely destination for Brendan."
Other possible destinations for Demitra look to include Buffalo, Montreal, Chicago, Dallas and Nashville.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune is saying that a Jan 1 outdoor game between The Hawks and the Red Wings at Wrigley field is all but decided. More on this later.

Making my calls this morning, so check back soon.
***from yesterday in case you missed it...
A source this morning callled me and told me to get up on the site quickly that Patrick O'Sullivan, who is a coveted RFA and was not elligible to file for arbitration, is drawing some big time interest from at least two teams...The Rangers and Canadiens.
Since I posted this up here this morning I have received further confirmation that the Minnesota Wild also have interest in O'Sullivan who was originally traded to the Wild for Demitra.
The Mathieu Schneider Trade Watch looks to be opening up. Five teams I am hearing today are the Flyers, Senators, Panthers, Thrashers, Bruins, and Islanders...ok actually that is six teams....lol
Brendan Shanahan looks to be headed elswhere and my bet is Montreal. Shanny has always wanted to play in Montreal and what a perfect fit he would be in this coming centenial year for the Habs.
more to come....
