Ditto Paille. Those of you who've been reading my blog for the past three years know that I'm a huge Dan Paille fan. I told you that he would be the best two way player on the Buffalo roster. Was I wrong? I look for Paille to double his $585,200 salary and to continue his ascent into the upper echelon of two way players.
Bernier will get the obligatory 10% bump on his $850K deal. He hardly lit the world on fire in the weeks following the Brian Campbell trade to San Jose.
Mac will earn a 10% raise as well.

The kids are going back to school, and classes resume on Mounteagle Ridge Wednesday morning. Niagara University will be a abuzz with anxious puck fans for the next 10 days!
You'll have to pardon Nathan Gerbe. He'll be in Washington, along with his NCAA National Champion BC Eagles, to meet President Bush on Wednesday.
Nate The Great will be on the ice Thursday.
Lindy Ruff and Darcy Regier will watch from the bleachers, as Jeep Patrick, Randy Cunneyworth, and Jon Christiano coach the young Sabres through skills, drills and scrimmages inside Dwyer Arena.
This camp will expose the youngsters to life in the NHL.
They will do dryland work; ride the bikes; do off-ice testing; watch video; and at the end of the day, they will hit the ice. The scrimmages will be open to the public from 3pm until 5pm 6/26-7/1.
Stafford, MacArthur, Kaleta, Sekera, Weber will be there.
