Word today that the Sharks may once again be dangling Marleau out there and at least two former potential trading partners have let it be known that they would go to the dance again. Montreal and Boston. Another team, Ottawa, that tried last year, and reportedly came within a player accepting to waive his NTC, is "NOT interested in Marleau, but is instead exploring options." See yesterday's blog.

More rumours as we hear them today. I am having a phone call with a source tonight around 5pm, so I would definitely check back after that. He has been one of my top two sources and is responsible for some of the biggest rumours that have broken on this site.

Really looking forward to Dallas and Detroit today! Does it get any better than this? I know I am the eternal optimist, but what fun is there in being negative? Whenever I watch hockey that doesn't involve one of the teams that I grew up being a fan of (Philly, Montreal, and San Jose) I just route for whatever will make for the most interesting hockey. And that means trying to get every series to a game seven 5 OT conclusion!

How about you?

Coaching Rumours.

Quenneville to San Jose (e4)
Wilson to Atalanta (e3)
Melrose to Tampa (e4)

Enjoy the game and stay tuned for more........................(remember that the more "..." following the stay tuned, the more I am working on!
