Can somebody, anybody tell me what is a penalty in the National Hockey League playoffs?

I'll give you a hint for those who think they know.. this is NOT too many men on the ice.

I have lots of time for my round 2 thoughts since the third round won't start for a couple weeks until NBC has an opening for us, so much more to come. I'll also have our contest winners from Round 2.

But right now I'm a little frustrated that the two best games I've seen this year have ended on tripping calls in OT.

What is tripping anyways?

And what is goaltender interference?

How about high sticking?

What the heck is too many men on the ice?

Since we have a nice long break from hockey, instead of getting caught up with the NBA playoffs, baseball or NFL minicamp news, your homework is to find out what a penalty is.

Because I just can't seem to figure it out.
