The word out of Sweden is that Peter Forsberg has rejected an offer from Anaheim.

Six teams remain in the hunt for his services.

Colorado

Philadelphia

Rangers

Vancouver

Chicago

Ottawa

Rink Rats!

Nine scouts witnessed the Blues defeat Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Detroit had three scouts at the Scottrade Center. This was the first time I have ever seen three scouts from one team in the same building.

Other teams represented:

Pittsburgh (pursuing a D-man)

Minnesota

Philadelphia

Florida (had two scouts present)

Dallas

It appears most of the scouts were there to LA.

Doug Weight is battling a serious pectoral injury and could miss up to five weeks for the Ducks.

Paul Stastny is expected to return to the Avalanche lineup Thursday vs. St. Louis

More on the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.

More to come,
