A loss, a win, and a blogger update.

Lets start with the loss. I say after tonight's fabulous win at home it's really no big deal. Brush it off. At this point certain things don't matter and the loss vs. the Panthers is one of those things.
Had we lost tonight then I would definately dig into evaluating why 2 losses in a row but I'm not going to waste my time.. we had a fabulous win at home.
How about Slava Kozlov tonight? Man, I love to watch him play. When Kozzie does a victory dance you know something good has just happened.
On top of the great overtime win I enjoyed watching Sutton play one of his best games of the year. Hard hitting, great passes, and just overall great defense. I must say I love the new Sutton and I really think he is a different player this half of the season as opposed to before his injury. Sutton was the guy I had written off a long time ago but now I am not so sure. Id like to see him stick around and continue to do great things for the Thrashers.
For all you readers out there that know me and know what I like then you knowww I loved seeing Moose in goal tonight. After the first goal was let in you could see Moose shake it off and then play the rest of the night in almost perfect fashion. There were mistakes but I would not blame them on him. Everytime Moose has been asked to start he has skated off the ice with a win. He truly is a backup that steps up when he is needed. I applaud him over and over for his efforts on this team.
I enjoyed the game, another good one in the bag and another step closer to proving everyone wrong once and for all.
There was talk tonight about who "we would like to face" in round 1 of the playoffs and some people were saying Tampa Bay (that is granted everything works out for them) and I couldnt disagree more. For some reason the thought of facing Tampa Bay in round 1 scares me. I feel like they are a team that at times has really stepped up agaisnt us and made us look like fools. Ive been to one of those games. I'm just not sure if we can hold our own against that kind of team, I dont want to see us get to the playoffs (finally) and then get laughed out. Thats just my opinion though..

I wanted to give you all a quick update on me before I sign off tonight. This may hurt some people's feelings and others may crack open a can of beer and celebrate. I have been absent lately due to the fact that I am going to be moving to Nashville in early May. Eklund and I have talked it over and there will be someone taking over my spot for the playoffs. Now dont get excited just yet because I am not leaving for good (you readers out there that do like me you can get excited) Ek and I are in talks of Nashville possibilities so stay tuned and I promise to keep you updated!! If you really like me then maybe you should start liking the Predators :)

I look forward to reading your comments.
