There are rumors circulating this evening about Vincent LeCavalier possibly being traded to Toronto.
"Not happening," a source said, "about 87 off..."
(Give this guy credit, despite working hard and traveling hard this time of year. That was a pretty clever response..)
When I think of Vinny rumors I think of:
The Monteal draft...where a Lecavalier trade was actually worked out to the Habs, but nixed by the NHL...(no sense of drama sometimes.)
Anyway...two names tonight who I am hearing could be Habs soon.. Alexei Kovalev (e4) who minutes after signing his big two year contract in Ottawa 2 years ago, announced how he wanted to return to Montreal after the contract. Kovy loves Montreal, and Montreal loves Kovy...
Another name, JP Dumont. Dumont brings much less to the Habs, but if healthy he can bolster the power play...
