They need to look at the Jets model and see if they can pull off a PL like trade …

Marner somewhere like Utah and get 3 solid guys back - 1 being an up and coming D man and 2 middle forwards like Vilardi and Iafallo… and get a pick along with it …

I hate the leafs with every fiber of my being but man oh man I actually feel bad for the fans. It's gonna get so so so bad. No de, no goaltending and a group of forwards that just don't seem to have the MOJO to get it done when it counts.

A friend of mine was sitting right behind the Leafs bench. That argument started when Matthews said he had diarrhea. Bertuzzi was grossed out. Marner said go to the dressing room, this isn't worth it. Nylander snapped and told Matthews to just do your job and shoot the puck. Marner was upset because nobody talks to my BFF like that. The whole bench stunk.

We'll see. But for me ..I do like that he looked to build in Calgary with goaltending and defence being a focus. They never got it done but the theory was more of what I would prefer.

It'd be nice to go into a playoff matchup with the best 'tender and blueline (or atleast something remotely close) for a change. Try to win some of these tight 3-2 playoff games rather than lose them.

Keefe says you can't question the effort. Marner and Rielly say there's no frustration.

Not difficult to see the issues here. If you're not frustrated you very much should be. If you're stupid enough to admit it publicly you should be shot out of a cannon before the next game starts.

What to even say about Keefes commentary that won't take up two pages. It's so obviously off base and out to lunch...

Roomer has it they had to tear out the bench and replace it after the game

I think people care way too much about the rhetoric of coaches. Who cares. I doubt he's sharing his true feelings in a post game presser. He's been criticized for being too critical ..he gets criticized for not being critical enough ...it's all nonsense.

If they fail he should be canned but not because of his quotes but bc his special teams are a complete and utter failure ....like record setting failure. The PP and PK coaches should have been strung up at centre ice - Tehran style.
