It's about time. Both Lindholm and Carlo need to be partnered with a guy who has a bit more of an edge. Their styles are too similar.
McAvoy - Lindholm
Carlo - Peeke
Shattenkirk - Lohrei
Gryz - Wotherspoon
...or something of the like. Addressing that 4th D man should be 1-1A along with a 1C this summer.

Lindholm and McAvoy are primarily our only two puck carrying defenseman so putting them together weakens the other pairings. I'll admit that Lindholm has been struggling in that department but we can only hope he finds his form in the next couple weeks.
Carlo and Peeke are also both strictly RD. Wotherspoon has been playing both sides I believe.
Ideally we need the Carlo and Lindholm pairing to continue to be our shut down pair. Monty tinkered way too much to end the season last year and went into the playoffs with zero momentum with his forward lines. I am hoping he learned from his mistakes.
