Anyway, Canucks have had a knack proving the experts wrong all season. The Oil have been good at disappointing. Though they have had Kings number for years so no surprise there on playoff results.

If too many PP's swing Edmontons way we'll be in trouble. Otherwise 5/5 we should be able to hang with them no problem. But Pettersson Garland and Hogs need to start scoring. Need all 4 lines clicking. I think Tocchet has something up his sleeve for this series.

If the reffs actually handed out a penalty every time McDavid was hooked or held or tackled the Oil would be on the PP the entire game.

Canucks are almost playing with house money. Oil have been pushing the window for a few years. Puts all the pressure on them. Canucks should have some feel good going for them. Division champs & a 1st round win in the books. They are not satisfied & are hungry & if in the room the mindset is forget everything & keep doing what they’ve been doing they’ll be fine. Games 1 & 2 will decide the series imo. Comes down to the details that are in our favour imo. The Oil PP is lethal but ours isn’t shabby against them. Silovs holds the fort til Demko heals it’s Canucks in 6.

More ice opened up for Petey if he’s moving his feet. Has to stop forcing passes. On the PP he has disappeared. I like the odds he finds his game against the Oil. Overdue

After playing the Preds in a tight series where neither team had breathing room this series will be much different. Oil are not close to smothering a team with team D. Their game is speed & McD wheeling around. Miller did great controlling him & that’s all you can do. Lindholm has really stepped it up & his D will only add to that. The structure & staples & the details decide this series. Play our game.
