Yea we skate year round. Typically have about 3 weeks off in April between seasons but due to some cancellations around the holidays we only had 1 week off this year which was great.
It's my only real form of exercise these days so if I took the whole summer off I'd be screwed - SkjeiStadium
Ha! That's me for about the last 4 years. (and probably why I'm falling apart!!)

In the past 15 years, there was a period of about 2 years I had a personal trainer. Other than that, no real serious exercise. I recently over the past two months picked back up both hockey and soccer, one game a week each. Man my body has been feeling even more broken down. After every game, something else hurts. |

Just get a weighted coozie and your beer drinking will get your curls in. Just alternate hands unless you want to look like Quagmire. |

Lavy giving nothing away about Chytil at his presser today. - Tonybere
Can't be easy for Lav. He doesn't want to be the coach that plays Chytil and watches him get seriously hurt. Don't think it's gonna happen, but he might be a little trigger shy putting him in |

That’s not on Lavy it’s on the trainers. If Lavy gets the green light for Chytil it’s his decision on what the best lineup to ice is but I doubt he’s thinking about the medical stuff. He’s given his list of “available” players and goes from there. It’s up to him if Chytil is game ready but if he goes out and gets hurt that’s not on Lavy at all |

I think its more about being the coach that makes a change to the lineup and messes up the chemistry the team currently is rolling with. |

Good point, but can't keep Chytil out if he's ready to go. He is a game changer |

Game changer based on what? What has he done this year to make you believe that? We did just swept the Capitals. |

I think Gresch has it right. The upside of Chytil in the line up has a chance to really change the game for the Rangers. The cost comes at the expense of either Rempe or maybe even Vesey.
In the end, the Rangers are going to need all these bodies to push through these rounds. Laviolette needs to find the right mix for each game and hopefully he gets it right. |

I dont see him sitting Vesey. If he decided to sit someone other than Rempe for Fil. My guess is either 1- Roslovic or 2- Cuylle. if I were coach I would sit Rempe and move Cuylle to the 4th line and Fil to the 3 LW |

Hell yeah! Chytil coming in the lineup could be a game changer. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clueless. He has speed and skill. Against Canes...he will be needed. This is all assuming he doesn't become a vegetable like Brandon when he gets hit

We posted at the same time. But Im not denying that he could help the team. Just saying to go out and say game changer is a bit of a stretch for a guy who hasnt played a game since Nov 2nd. |

Rempe is a game changer! He can take out Aho or Burns in a blink of an eye.

If/when he is on his game, Chytil would shore up the top 6/9 help the PP2 That is all based on if he is 100%
Would anyone be surprised if Chytil went out in game 1 and sniped a goal? |

The guy was a top 6 center for us before getting hurt. He obviously isn't getting his role back from Trocheck but if he's 100% it would be crazy of Lavy not to get him in the lineup. I don't even think this is a discussion. If he's healthy he will play. Maybe not game 1, but he will play this series if he's able, and once he goes into the lineup it's very unlikely he comes back out. |

And, (actually, to a man) we are psyched about that. But, if you think that means anything against a Carolina team that is every bit as good as we are, in almost any metric that matters, you need to calm down a bit and buckle up.
This is going to be a razor thin series. Every mistake, every big play will be magnified by the level of competition throughout every game. If I wasn't just as stressed as excited about it, I would be thrilled by the prospect of such great hockey to come! |

Chytil absolutely could be a game changer
he scored 4 goals in the 7 game series vs the Canes two years ago |
