We did not lose that game nor game 1 due to goaltending.

Goaltending has not been the reason the Leafs have lost a playoff series in a long time.

Getting a better / top tier goaltender would be nice of course but there are bigger issues here - systems, coaching, roster construction in relation to salary are all bigger issues IMO.

A top tier goalie doesn’t fix those issues and guarantee a winning playoff team.

See Rangers with Lundy, Preds with Rinne or Habs with Price as 3 prime examples.

- Cush29

We might have won tonight's game if you switched the goalies. I agree it's not the main issue, but their guy was better.

Well I won’t go waste countless hours looking for that quote that likely does not exist
- jribout

He said it this morning

He said if Willy feels ready to play he will play.

He said it last game too.

You do this to many people on here. Don’t care to be on the other end of Cush’s insecurity rants today. Thanks in advanced.

With truth or not having the last word.

You’re an insecure, arrogant loser.

Everyone here knows it.

When I was a mod you pm’d me constantly whining about others who were mean to you.

You are a joke - do everyone a favour and just shut up.

Someone that's been to Leafs games since the late 60's, I've seen how it works. The corporate's would buy the tickets, write them off as an entertainment expense, sell them for a profit to the scalpers and make out like bandits. Out of 16,416 seats, 12, 500 were season tickets at Maple Leafs Gardens. Didn't leave much for the average sports fan. It's why I hate the Corporate pigs for getting paid and making it very expensive to see a Leafs game.

You’d think playoffs would be different.

It’s even leafy we have the worst crowds

Classic insecure Cush rant.

The common denominator of mods on here are they have no control in their lives so they try and control it here.

You are a sad man and I’m one of the multiple people on here that you try and bash so you can make yourself feel better.

It’s sad but true and you needed to hear it.

Prove it more by going on another Cush rant.

Also are you drunk? Your rant was all over the place

The leafs have to be *different* because of the media.

The funny part is it makes the media even worse so they are playing themsleves.

- Santo_44

But theyve never done this before.

Well Keefe said before game 1 it was Tre who demanded there would be no updates

Not sure if it’s Tre who thinks it’s better that the media and fans know nothing or not

It is, I get it.

You just have MT trying to play with a broken sternum.

I remember Muzzin demolishing Krug into the boards with no helmet head first last time they played in the first round..Krug didn’t miss a game and it was reported he played the entire cup run(all the way to finals) with a concussion.

Look I get it, I don’t expect him to play but it’s just leafy and I’m mad about it. I just wish we had players who played with concussions like other teams. It’s just leafy that doctors and trainers have to force other stars off the ice but Willy just forces himself to sit.

- Santo_44

If Nylander has a concussion I would prefer he not be playing. The series does not mean that much.

Swayman seems to have the Leafs number but how many times have we said this about the playoff opposition goalie?

I’m not sure that’s it or if the Leafs just struggle to pot goals in the playoffs more than the teams we lose against.

I remember at the Gardens, the private boxes would all be glassed in, so no noise from them jingling their jewelry. Go the the Montreal Forum, the boxes were all open and the crowd would be electric. The Corporates have had it too easy for too long. The government needs to drop that Entertainment write off and you'd see tickets for the real fans. However, the Leafs might not like it, because they can charge ridiculous prices for tickets, because they use if for a write-off.

Our goalies are always second best. They make some good saves and then they let in a bad one, which negates anything good that they did. That Frederic goal was a game changer.

Most players aren’t stupid enough to try and play with a concussion nowadays. It’s good that we have a little break now.

What, you mean this quote?

After the skate, head coach Sheldon Keefe left the possibility that Nylander could return to the lineup up in the air.

"There is a chance," Keefe said. "It depends on how he responds. We'll take it from there."

Yeah not anything remotely what you're suggesting.

Keefe said him playing tonight was up to him for what it’s worth.

Also with how physical the game is in playoffs I’m sure most players have mild concussions.

Lol honestly you are not with my time Santo. People calling out your BS isn’t a rant but call it whatever you like.

Sure everyone else is the jerk except you.

I bet you say that a lot in your life.

Keep spouting your garbage and getting angry and deflecting when people call you out on it. That’s your thing and it clearly makes you feel like a big man, it’s a bit sad that’s your biggest flex but whatever.

Sorry you can’t handle hearing the truth that’s an unfortunate character flaw I hope you can work on and remedy.

I hope one day you figure it out but have my doubts.

Well yes and no. I know a few people with season tickets. High up in the purples it's $450 for a pair face value for tonight's game. That isn't terrible. A "real" fan could afford that.

However, my friends flipped Saturday's tickets for $820 and they were sold in 3 hours for those same seats. People also need to stop paying these amounts.

Agreed and I’m also out. We will let Santo continue to rage about never being given Mod status after he asked to be a mod.

His anger about that burns deep!

The Barney seats are MEH. The price for two is almost $1000.00. That's about half a month's rent in most of Ontario. Pretty expensive if you buy anything at the Venue.
