Deebo is 28 turning 29. In NFL terms that is old.
- Sabretooth9

I would trade that 3rd and 5th we acquired for him but other than that.

McConkey or Dejean at 33

Trade up in 2nd to take a WR if we don't at 33.

Like what he has been doing so far. This was always a reset year

I don’t think this is a reset year. He got rid of all the old dead weight. Mitch Morse was the only head scratcher release wise.

I agree with you about moving up in the 2nd from 60.

Get 2 WRs

OK, he is signed this year at 8 mill and next year it goes to 16mill and a dead year after that. If the cost wasn't to bad I would have no problem bringing him in. We can still draft a WR

By reset, more of a cap reset, when we did it years ago we still made playoffs.

It's hard to compete with all that dead cap. We still have Josh so anything can happen. I think filling in holes and depth is important this year.

Next year you have 50 million in cap space and an extra 2nd. Can make a signature signing or trade next off-season

I agree with you. People get really upset at the idea of a reset, and they won't come right out and say it, but their actions say it. They have over 55m of dead cap.

Courtland Sutton for your pick at 60 ?
- Swedish_Jesus

If Diggs, a 5th and 6th is worth a 2nd, then Sutton is worth a 5th or so.

Imagine having Josh Allen and the team saying eh we have to take a year off basically.

In your estimation, was a reset needed?

I think it's more reload and given their cap situation the reload needs to come via draft

If you have to move on from Diggs, yes.

Might be a Cap reset year, but other than that still have a solid Roster. There D is still gonna be good, might be better with both LB's back and there gonna score points. The offense just needs some work.

Take DeJean @ 33. Package Elam and a pick to move back up to get either McConkey, Coleman, or the kid from Oregon.

Works for me.

I like DeJean, if we're not going WR. Hell, yes. Might convert to safety, too. Either way, helluva player still on the board there.

Diggs also had his entire contract reworked and came with baggage.

Sutton is younger and signed.

Might not be worth 60, but probably not worth a 5th either.

Agree. AT this point, IMO, the value is too good to not take him. We need secondary help.

Cap reset …. I agree with that. But some of the signings were upgrades.

Curtis Samuel - I would consider an upgrade over Gabe Davis

Resigning Rapp (I liked him last year when we used poyer as more of a linebacker)

La’el Collins - depth or very likely starter at guard - very good signing fyi

Daquan Jones coming back - that is awesome

DT Austin Johnson was considered an upgrade over the current D line

Safety Mike Edwards from the chiefs. Everyone said good things about.

Beane retooled. I wouldn’t call it a rebuild year
