It's no secret that the Philadelphia Flyers are in the market for a first line center, although getting that goal accomplished could be easier said than done. In the meantime, the Flyers are also looking for another top-four defenseman to either put on the right side alongside Cam York or the left side next to Jamie Drysdale.

From what I've heard, Philly has interest in one of Jakob Chychrun or Thomas Chabot. Chychrun, whose dad played for the Flyers and whose mom is a Delaware Valley native, is someone Philly has had interest in for a number of years. Chabot has a long-term contract and is about to have a modified no-trade clause kick in. But he's exactly the type of minutes-eater that can share the tough minutes with Travis Sanheim and York.
