Agree & not overly big so there is that when paired with Hughes. He gets keyed on I notice & if no outlet to Hughes he didn’t do much. If he thinks he’s worth his ask he won’t get the big pay day he thinks. Regular season pts & fit in pretty good with Hughes helps but PO hockey is another beast. The Oiler series should give us a better idea.

Not really. I did it with Lindholm at 6, Joshua at 3, Myers 3.5, Z at 4.75, and Hronek at 6.5. Those are all pretty low on the range as well. After the Mik buyout that leaves about $100k without factoring in Silovs either. And it's only a 21 man roster.

Giving up a 1st & 2nd for Hronek was about the going rate I guess. RHD are hard to get & not cheap.

His addition was a big part of team success but so was other players having career years. The remade D was a huge factor.

All of the above will go into the negotiations process. Sure he played top pairing & 48pts but only 5 goals. Little PP time & not on the PK. That says top 4D.

When Keefe gets his walking papers I think he’s not hired for a year or more as a HC. Coach Q is more likely to get hired before him. Other non PO teams might look to the NCAA or the Hakstols of the world where Keefe could also end up.
