Prob unpopular, but why take on that contract PLD, why not get Max Domi for a 3rd line center? Cheaper and younger and can play a tough game with some added scoring touch.

Must admit, he brought a lot more than I thought he would. That being said, how much of the anger towards him is due to Donny's misuse? IMO, if he had played bottom6 minutes and not been handed PP time, he'd be more positively thought of.

One of these guys is supposedly not even worth $4.25m. The other is already signed by the Sabres for $7+

Ruff just needs to help Adams finish the puzzle, and I hope he still has that in him. They don't have to build a whole Team, Just find the right pieces to get to the next point.

He can be the right guy on a 3rd line. We saw that. Even a little top 6 time. He's not a guy who should never see 4th line time, and Girgs blocks that out.

LOG was valuable at times, but really got in the way of building a better team as well. Hope they finally let it die. If Girgs, Greenway, and Skinner are all here, what kind of opportunity are you giving the next wave of kids?

The Sabres are always the team that says "this guy is a problem, get rid of him" and then they sell low to a team that maximizes the potential of that player. It would be nice to be on the other end of that for once. Is PLD that guy, I don't know, but at some point you have to move past vibes signings and try to create some value contracts.

With the BS the Sabres roster displayed this past season, do you honestly believe that is the one roster that can straighten out a problem player?
If so, why didn't they straighten out Skinner?
Why did they all say they need to be held accountable more (note few said they need to hold themselves accountable).
