They need a center more than anything. They can't take a goalie at #2 and they already did a lot to get defenders in Wisniewski and Johnson. They need a center.

I was considering this as well that the Oilers may have (frank)ed us a bit. Yakupov is #1, no question despite Edmonton's needs. And CBJ and MTL both need centers (who typically are taken ahead of D) NYI would take Murray for sure. Leaving us with Forsberg, Faksa, Dumba, or even Reinhart. If it comes to that, I would A) see us trade down to take Gaunce, or B) trade it in a package for Nash.

Burke's presser concerns me, he sounds a little desperate. Hope he doesn't go do anything rash.

It hasn't happened, what can you do. I think they'll make the best of this draft, I don't expect much to change for this team next year, unless they can add a few impact pieces over the summer. But i mean news anchors love talking about acquiring a starting goalie and a 1C as if you can pick one up at the corner store.
