They are barely struggling, if it wasn't for these past two weeks, we are possibly in 7th and no one is calling for the end of the world.

Your one of those fans that are just ass-hurt because we got our asses handed to last night,

You must be joking, it wasn't just last night, the team is inconsistant. But you be excited for the sloppy play and letting other teams catch up, because when they were 8 points out of the division lead, 6th and 5th place in their sights, they let it slip away while the team behind them now has one less point with on less game played, but I guess everything is fine and dandy with you.

It's all I've heard, sorry if I mixed it up. The youth junk gets annoying and repetitive, it means nothing.

Well it does mean something. It's not the reason why the Leafs are where they are, this teams overall defensive play has been subpar, and the goaltending although not horrible has not been great. Add that with a coach who is set in his ways and you have a team ( with young players) still making mistakes keeping their heads just above water. I think the Leafs are about where many thought..capable of squeeking in. 8th-11th in the east. Not having the Grabo line duplicate last seasons play hasn't helped either..it is what it is.

All I can say is that I am still okay with what BB is doing and I am still okay with the progress the team is making together on the ice. Guess will see how much BB wants the playoffs in the next week.

Don't get me wrong I like a lot of moves Burke has made, I just believe he has not lived up to the hype, he created himself.

Coming to the biggest hockey market in the world, on the biggest stage he had to get up there and say what he said. I think the man has a lot of respect in the NHL among fellow GM's. He owns up to his mistakes, takes the heat. His loyalty to his players and staff is admirable (sometimes to a fault) But in the end we will see. I think he still has time to get the job done here, and get it done right. We still need a #1 C at some point, we need to get bigger up front overall and I am not sold on our goaltending. You can get good goaltending and survive if the team in front is solid, we are not there yet. Foot speed on the D core is also not great for the system they are playing. Pinch a lot and then cannot get back. Dion/Schenn etc..

Anyways..Im looking forward to the days when its not stressful to be a fan

We'll see, didn't know saying Burke should give long term contracts would blow up like it did.

I didn't mean for it to be a big huge debate, we all have our opinions. I simply stated to someone that Burke has made us a better younger team, and that he was a good GM, and you said youth didn't matter and it went onnnnnn and onnnnnnnn.

I think we agree on everything but the level that youth plays on a team...
