I think that Buffalo is off of Doan's list solely due to Garth's infatuation with him. He's even freaking me out.

I think they should trade Kipper...but
#1. TO does not have the assets to make that deal with the Flames.
#2. Feaster has said countless times that a Kipper trade is a non starter. Not a chance.
#3. The only reason they have come close to the playoffs is because of Kipper. If he goes...they are a lotto team next summer.
#4 Toronto Sucks and the Flames have far too much respect for Kipper to send him to that hockey wasteland!

Gonchar has a no movement clause (meaning Murray would have to get a sweet enough deal to ask the experienced veteran to move). Gonchar doesn't look like a $5.5M cap hit every night, but he is a valuable piece on the team-- both on and off the ice. The return wouldn't be that bountiful therefore makes any deal virtually impossible.

I can't wait for NHL 13, I bet thats whats holding up a lot of the teams. GM's want to get on there and see if the trades they have been proposed are good enough

Hes been right on a few things around baseball and football... I don't think I remember him being right on something in the NHL ever... he has been reporting a Toronto trade #DONE since like early July. The ONLY person I even bother to get my hopes up over is Dreger and MacKenzie... occasionally some local media guys get the inside scoop.. but on a regular basis.. those 2 are money.
