Akeson Signing This Sunday; Voracek & Read Friday Night... (NHL)

Philly fans are sure getting their kick at the autograph can as the season kicks off, with yet another Flyers signing closing in on the radar.

This time we’ve got Jason Akeson appearing this Sunday, October 12th, from 3:30-5pm at Nicks Roast Beef located at 2210 Cottman ave. Philadelphia, PA. Autograph tickets are going for $15.00 a pop, and are available by calling MJR Sports Collectibles at (484) 427-7508, or on their website here.

Also remember that this Friday, October 10th, Jakub Voracek and Matt Read of your Philadelphia Flyers will be signing, meeting and greeting from 7-8:30 at Pro Image in the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, PA.

Pricing options are as follows:

Basic Ticket: One (1) Autograph Ticket valid on Friday October 10th, 2014 for any item signed by Jakub Voracek- $35.00; Matt Read - $25.00

VIP Ticket: Two (2) Autograph Tickets and one professional photo op valid on Friday October 10th, 2014 with Jakub Voracek- $85; Matt Read - $65.00

Basic Combo: One (1) Autograph Ticket valid on Friday October 10th, 2014 for any one(1) item signed by Matt Read and Jakub Voracek- $50.00

VIP Combo Ticket: Two (2) Autograph Tickets and one professional photo op valid on Friday October 10th, 2014 with Matt Read and Jakub Voracek- $140.00

As per usual, I’d advise you call ahead in advance for both signings to ensure: 1) The signing is still on; and 2) the item you’re looking to bring to be signed (if this is indeed what your are doing) is not on a potential “Will Not Sign… list (they do exist folks!).

As per my new policy, with the realization that some people will inevitably rant about pricing and the whole idea of formal signings, I would like to aim to at least get some enjoyment out of them!!! With this in mind, I will post the best, appropriate enough to post, rant/one-liner/one-off in the comments in a future signing post. If anything I feel this may inspire people to bring some humour/originality into this rather than just the run of the mill old man nail spitting. Straddle the line and throw me a laugh folks…
