Leafs Signings July 16/16: Tucker, Bower & Nevin (Maple Leafs)

Maple Leafs fans in the GTA looking for some midday signing action are in luck this Saturday! For those holding Guns N Roses tickets for that night, don’t sweat it! It’s plenty early, so you can still get down to the Dome and prime the tank before Billy Talent hits the stage!!!

Anyhoo, to the meat and potatoes of this chunk ‘o’ the internet: Grab your chance to get some autographs from Leafs of the past, with Darcy Tucker, Johnny Bower and Bob Nevin appearing together in Vaughan (in the Dave & Busters at 120 Interchange Way) this Saturday, July 16th beginning at noon (until 1pm for Tucker, 1:30 for Bower and Nevin). Nice draw here at very reasonable prices: Tucker = $25 for any item; Nevin = $15 for anything; Bower = $15 for regular items (i.e., cards, pics) and $25 for jerseys or jersey numbers. As for those not in the GTA or able to make it, Cojo Sport Collectable’s will be doing pre-orders on an assortment of items for all three players, which you can check out at www.cojosportcollectables.com.

As per usual, my pre-warning for anyone looking to attend: If you are bringing anything other than a jersey (for the team they’re being promoted with), card or picture to be signed, call ahead to ensure the player will sign it! Sometimes, albeit rarely, player quirks can enter the equation and there may be certain things they will not put a sharpie too (i.e., an item from a team they had a bad experience with), so call ahead to be safe. Similar procedure with sending an item in to be signed, but you’re also wanting to confirm mailing address, where you’d like it signed, and return details, among any other details. It may seem like splitting hairs to many, but I echo the words of the wise sage Shia LaBeouf: JUST DO IT!
