I saw Belfour and Tony O. Tony O was the better of the two IMO. Would be interested to hear what the other old-timers have to say.

I still think the Habs and the B's will be the best.

JJ,

It would have been nice to have a bio for the pre-80's players for the younger crowd.

"One of the greatest of all time, "Mr. Goalie" spent 10 years between Chicago's pipes, earning eight All-Star nods, posting a 275-229-106 mark with 51 shutouts, and backstopping the Blackhawks' 1961 Stanley Cup championship that ended a 23-year drought for the franchise. A forerunner of the butterfly style, he was also well-known for getting sick to his stomach before games. Perhaps his most impressive feat was playing 502 consecutive regular season games, and 50 more in the playoffs, without a facemask. A back injury caused him to leave a game against Boston on November 8, 1963, thus ending his remarkable run. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1975."

Belfour is one of my favorite Hawks ever, but he doesn't deserve to edge out Hall or Espo.

Flyers have a ton of firepower as well.... all 12 forwards have multiple 40+ goal seasons in a flyers sweater except Bobby Clarke, Rod Brind'Amore, and Claude Giroux.

Leach-Clarke-Barber
LeClair-Lindros-Recchi
Propp-Giroux-Kerr
Gagne-Brind'Amore-Tocchet

Defense is average at best though compared to other all time teams.

Edit: picked tony o.

you should probably see a little more out of giroux before you lump him in an all time list. Hell, even Olli Jokinen has a 91 pt season on his resume

Glenn Hall - Hands down #1
Tony O
Belfour

How is Hall not leading the pack? Stanley Cup Champion, invented the butterfly style (if I'm not mistaken), and threw up before every game! WINNER!!!

Off topic: Teräväinen scored his first goal today. He played one period on the wing and scored immediately. He has played much better lately. As I said; talent is there but he needs to learn to play as a center and get more strength to his body overall. 1+1 in nine games - those two points in last three games.

Phillip Danault is doing pretty well in Q if you look at the stats. Second in scoring at this point. Quess McNeill is finding his game also after slow start? Haven´t seen any games from those two.

Most likely, but the homer in me thinks the Oilers one will be pretty good.
