How many passes were on the tape of a player who didnt finish...a lot of them. Brunette couldnt score in a whore house, Hossa had issues at times finding the twine, honestly the PP needs a quarterback that can manage the PP correctly. Nash cant do that. There were numerous issues on this team this year, the only reason we are talking about moving Kane is bc of the Wisconsin episode. Stop nit picking his game (not just you but all the Kane haters) when it was the most well rounded it has been and he did it while switching positions all year. The Sedin's dont have a ring, Giroux is about as complete of a Hockey player that you are going to find and Crosby and Tazer are the two best Captain's in the NHL. He's 23 not 27, just relax.

Power play needs three things:

1. A scheme that involves all five players - not just the forwards
2. A howitzer shot from the point - not Keith
3. Point men who can keep the puck in the zone

Watch tape from the Doug Wilson era.

No kidding. I have hated watching others desecrate the #24 jersey over the years since his trade. I will tell you also, one of the nicest and most gracious men in sports you will ever meet

Yup, and the reason for the number in my user ID.

Best overall defencemen the 'Hawks have had since Pilote.

To put Kane's 'magical' passing in perspective... he averages maybe 45 assists per season...... The Sedin sisters range between 45 on the low low low end and 83 assists on the high end. The reality is Kane makes pretty looking passes but he does not make enough of them that turn into goals.

Maybe one day he reaches that plateau....... But I can tell you the guys that have been there like Giroux, the Sedin's, and Crosby eat sleep $hit hockey 24/7. Kane seems to prefer the life piece of work/life balance a little too much. Jmo.

Problem has been the people Kane has been passing to have not finished the deal. Just off the top of my head I can think of at least 10 open nets that some how the player (Andrew) could not finish after a perfect pass from Patrick. Don't trade Kane, get him more help!

Yes. I had the pleasure of spending three hours at a picnic table with Foley and Wilson at Murphy's after a Cub game years ago. Most humble sports player I have ever met.

High to low with a body in front of the net - best universal power play strategy.
