I disagree. He is so much more of a complete center now. Faceoffs, neutral zone play, defensive play, a leader in the league in take aways, etc... We know what he can do offensively, look at his numbers under Ron Wilson, when he got matched up against the other teams 3rd and 4th lines. Now he plays against the other teams top lines and has done an excellent job as a shut down center.

I was referring to simply point output, but I agree with what you are saying. He was excellent in the playoffs last year and hopefully he continues down that path, he'll give the Blues all they can handle

Sharks put up a fight but Blues take this in 6 or less. Sharks are too old, and no show Joe will be his regular invisible self.

He had 6 points in 5 games against you guys last year which isn't bad

And he played, what, like 2 or 3 games with a separated shoulder? This was his best playoffs as a Shark, let's hope he can build on that this year.
I am ready to get it going.

Nitpicking here, but it's actually his second worst as a Shark

In what ways? Point production? Sure. But Thornton has been more of a complete player than he ever has in his career. His takeaways and defensive game has improved dramatically since he won the Art Ross trophy.

Screw the Sharks/Blues series, I cant wait for a Kings upset and watch Vancouver burn their city to the ground again, those Youtube videos are quite interesting.

I am totally excited to watch the Nucks and Kings. I think the Kings can pull off a major upset as of all the netminders that can play...Quick is the best of them right now. If the nucks wing they will be banged up big time.
