Bit of a blast of prospects past.

I caught Akim playing like 4 or 5 games in a row when he was on loan to the Rivermen last season and I thought he looked solid in that stretch. Certainly more solid physically than in the past.

Aliu came out to my rec league skate near Toronto over the Christmas break. I unfortunately wasn't there but it was quite humorous to hear. He knew then that he was going to Calgary and wasn't traded until nearly two months down the line.

There is another poster who posts here who said the same thing about the Morrison deal a couple of months back. I can't remember who said that, but I guess the story was that he knew a guy who's friends with Morrison, and I guess he was searching for an apartment in Chicago almost a month or two before he was even dealt by Calgary.

I guess Feaster works out his deals months in advance.

Flick is suspended because of the rumble in Milwaukee on Sunday. Brookbank is about as useless as John Scott.

I'm okay with keeping him out till training camp, if he is not ready to go.. Looking Big Picture with him, no reason to rush him back.. I think most would agree.

100% agree.

If he was 37 years old I could understand pushing for a return but for a kid that will be 24 later this month there is way more at stake than this season.

Can someone with more knowledge explain how 67 turned into a over paid pile of trash?
On a side note, the Hawks need a win tonight or Saturday, and a OTL at worse, to have a .500 record on the road.

I don't claim to have more knowledge that anyone, but it seems as though Q put him in his doghouse! Similar to what he did with Brouwer, and at times Stalberg.

I do find it amazing that Frolik scores 21 goals two years in a row, with lesser talent on the Panthers, and now can't find the back of the net unless the goalie is on the bench!

Would love to see him pot a goal or two before the playoffs in the hope that would boost is damaged psyche...
