The Philly situation is hilarious. They go at least a decade without having a legit goalie. Finally they decide it's time to get one and they dismantle half their offense to make room only to have him suck balls. That's just awful luck. I thought Bryzgalov was a top end starter.

I'm a Flyers fan first and Maple Leaf fan second, but seriously, enough is enough. The bleeding has to stop. With all this BS rumors going around, I believe the Leafs should look at getting Carter, a couple of hard-nosed 3rd liners (ie: Moen, Gaustad and Ott). Nash is not the answer for this team, unless they get both Carter and Nash which is probably as rare as a three titted whore. And no the Leafs do not need Mason from the BJs either. Bernier would be a good fit for TO tho. If Burkie can pick up Carter, Bernier and 2 of the 3 3rd liners that I have named, they will make that 8th and final playoff spot. If not, better start trading the Connolly's, the Lombardi's, the Komisarek's, the Kulimen's and yes I am saying it, the Schenn's for 2nd....3rd.....4th.....or even 5th 6th or 7th rd draft picks and keep stocking the cupboard. You can never have too little prospects in the system. You can trade them down the road if necessary. Simply, as of right now, the Leafs are just not good enough. Plain and simple. Look I want the Leafs to do as good as anyone here wants them to, but I am painting the picture black and white here. And oh yeah, if I was a player in the Leafs organization and I called a team meeting, I'd stand up and say let's miss the playoffs for our sake so that we don't have to smell Wilson's fecal matter anymore. Soooooo much better. I originally bought a 60" Sony. I never took the plastic off the trim. I used it for a couple weeks then took it back to Futureshop.

I bought a 58" samsung Plasma the next day. There is absolutely NO comparison. I have a 6 series 40" Samsung in my workout room and it also is not even close to the plasma.

As long as they are selling plasma I will never buy an LCD... and the LED backlit ones are worse, even the ones with the full array lighting.

Dude, I am not picking on you but two things...

1)You are on the Leafs thread... you should expect some unpleasantness.

2) It sure looks like Parise is going to move on, and Brodeur will be gone soon.
