It really is becoming more and more evident that Shaw will be the guy that sticks and JJ's Golden child Krugs will be headed for Rockford. That is if we pick up another forward.

I'll agree with you, It's looking like Shaw is here to stay. Barring something drastic, he's sticking around. I'd almost have to believe he's going to be the reason Carcillo won't be a Blackhawk next season. Shaw is just as good, if not better than Carcillo. Shaw also dosn't have a bullseye on his back that reads "automatic 10 game suspension" just below it. Carcillo does.

However, Kruger is staying as well. Although he hasn't been an offensive force, he's responsible defensively and does decent at the dot as well. Kruger also plays on the PK, and has been used as a wing. Hayes will be back in Rockford befere Kruger will be.

Shaw has basically replaced Krugs. Krugs does not have the size that Hayes does and Shaw can kill penalties. Krugs needs time in Rockford to bulk up.

They have some similar traits and abilities, but very different games. I agree more with the earlier statement that he will end up being the reason Carcillo isn't here next year.

With Kruger playing, this team gains another good center which helps a lot (!!!) to structure all your lines. The team seems to flow much better. Sharp and Kane looked good at times doing that job but they are not real solutions.

that is the 5th time you have said that. Make an adjustment. Shaw is not as big and twice as talented...one day you will see...a year or so from now...
