If its up to me i would go:

What do you think in regards to the forward lines?

- 100/25= The Habs

I like those alot. Better balance..I think tangs and saku have to stay together.

i agree with you
looks great to me
a good balance of scoring

- blarneylad

ya thats what i thought. i didn't want carbo splitting up Tanguay & Koivu & i felt bad for Pleks playing with TK6 and Tender last game. He's doing everything asked of him (except score) which one know is huge but give him some support

Ya thats what i was thinking. Saku has been our best forward pretty much every night. Him and Tanguay have been playing really well together and i don't see D'Agostini doing anything to stop that

If its up to me i would go:

D'Agostini-Koivu-Tanguay: Koivu & Tangy have been playing well and getting chances with who ever is 3rd on this line.

AK46-Pleks-Higgy: Pleks has had good chemistry with both guys.

TK6-Lang-Kovy: Kovy & Lang only pass the puck to each other ... and TK6 will at least bring some effort/grit to this line

L-Rock-Laps-Begin: call em the "bash frères". with Laps & Begin's energy and speed they might even make L-Rock look quick. Also expect Kovy & AK46 on the line every once in awhile.

Defense- Markov & Gorges, Hammer & Breeze-by-me, Boulls & Candy Dandy

Price & Halak

agree!!! Koivu and Tanguay have to play together!!!

also, 46 with 14, please. everything else could be mixed up.

I just wish carbo would start off with these lines.... but if the match is progressing well, in a positive way, put 46-14-27 back together.
instant promotion/confidence giver.

DO NOT KEEP KOVY WITH #6 ALL NIGHT !!!!!!
to me, that is a wast of Kovy's energy.... and augmenting the risk that he will show little energy... again.

disappointed you didnt use a bunch of cute(gay) nicknames like the other guy

You know, you're 100% right, you should be disappointed...Why should you be discriminated against? We'll try harder so that our words fit your lifestyle.

There are lots of gay people today and we should be sensitive to your needs...

Only reason i say that is because Kovy isn't passing the puck anyways ... so its not that bad if its TK6 not getting the puck instead of say a guy like AK46 or Higs. TK6 knows his role: battle in the corners and get infront of the net.

Although i know what your saying. Kovy will see playing with TK6 as a slap in the face and will just get un-intrested.

i don't get the joke about richard park
hes not that young and isn't that good

- blarneylad

What are you talking about.... Park is the greatest youg tallent since Mario Lemieux.
What a Stud.... I reported that the Capitals offered AO and Semin for Park (e4) but it was refused.
not to be outdone, it seem Pittsburgh has thrown their hat into the ring. Malkin and Crosby are on the table, along with Letang and MAF. for Park and Dipi. (e3) more to come.... the domino's are coming down!!!!!

Eric, I gotta disgaree with what you said about this clearly being a message sent by Carbo, to work harder. Sitting Latendresse and Sergei is a good thing, but it's not a message. It's an easy way out. Put Kovalev on the bench if you really feel the need to wake up the team. This will only add "safety" to the veterans who feel untouchable. I hope it works, but I don't think anyone couldn't see something like this coming. Coming on to HB and reading your headline of "Kovalev is benched!" would be much more shocking, and effective.

In either case, let's hope for a win tonight.

What does Carbo expect from Latendresse? Last year, he wasn't working so they put him in the pressbox to teach him. Now, he is working but not producing points. I don't know what's the problem for that guy who play on the fourth line. He cannot put the puck in the net for Kostopoulos...

You bench Kovalev, and you lose him for the season.

I agree, and I don't even think I was neccesarily saying I wanted it to happen... moreso just disagreeing with Eric's implication that benching the other two was motivation. I'd have to imagine that even the other players on the team knew it was inevitable.

Give Latendresse a compilation of Thomas Holmstrom video. Im sure the video guy from the Habs can make that, then when Carbo bench Latendresse, make him listen to that. And every time he dosent put in pratice what he learned in the video, you bench him again. Worth a try since nothing worked so far for him...

I would do the reverse. I'd play him less 5 on 5. I agree that sitting him is not the answer.

I think it's time for another sit down with Gainey. Gainey know's there's only 3 quarters of a season left to baby sit him.

I think it was more for those players, who after marginal years to say the least, walk around like they are 10 year vets. You gotta take em down a peg or two. They need to remember (at least Sergi does) what got him there. Latendress just needs to realize what he is.
