I heard on NHL Centre Ice radio yesterday that all of December and the Winter Classic could be cancelled as early as next week.

I think a Jan 1 -2 Classic Game would have to be cancelled relatively soon...THe NHL won't get hung on $$$.

IMO a game could be played at late as February at the Big House...

I was referring to this blog after 1 hour only had one comment. All I am saying is fans are becoming tired of the NHL lockout.

Accually Vantel..Most of my hockey friends are of the opinion of who cares. I for one am taking advantage of spending more quality time with my family than I am wondering when the millionaires and billionaires can decide when hockey will return.

As for me the regular fan and former season ticket holder. The game has become to pricey fom me. I can no longer afford to go to the game and spend 200- 300 a night.
I hope that the leadue can continue to get the spport of TV and its commercial support frome larger companies. These guys are about to kill the Golden goose and it could mean the end of the NHL

If the NHL ever went away, the owners would all still continue to make millions in their 'regular' businesses.

The players would be hard pressed to make the kind of money they now get, either playing hockey somewhere else or in another line of work. Anyone going to pay Toews, Keith or Kane $6 million to manage their business?

The players have much more to lose than the owners. I've heard 240 players involved in the last lockout never played another NHL game. Not sure if that's accurate, but more than a few will be running rinks or selling insurance if they don't settle soon.

I'm looking forward to Patrick Kane doing my discount double check!

Terevainen was hurt a week or so back - broke his finger and is sidelined for 4 weeks or so.

Hopefully he uses playing against tougher talent to elevate his game while gaining some strength.
