lol so every team improved...Pheonix worse, Detroit worse, Nashville worse. There are only so many points to go around. Just because a few teams improve doesn't mean 14th place has more than 70 points

Detroit and Nashville will fall, but only slightly....they'll still make the playoffs....Phoenix will probably take a bigger dip.....those points will be gained by Minnesota and Dallas mostly....but Calgary will still be well behind a playoff spot. |

they have a few big priced players and then it drops off pretty deeply, they have some nice players for the prices, and they will probably make the playoffs if ward can bounce back and if semin plays close to his capabilities, may steal a round but not sure if they will have what it takes to make damage
they are setting themselves up nicely for the future if they can find a young goalie, not sure what their prospects look like either, but trading their 1st and a good d prospect for staal wont help that

Totally agree. They have that Murphy kid who's going to be a solid 2nd pairing dman, but idk other than that. Carolina will fight hard for a playoff spot, but they will NEED Ward to be at his best. If Semin could play like he did 2-3 years ago, this team honestly could win the division. |
