How's that Luongo contract working out for you guys? Ballard was a real steal as well.

1st- CGY trades Stajan, Babchuk to MTL for Gomez and reaquire our 2nd round pick

2nd- CGY offer sheets Benn with a heavily front loaded 12yr. contract avg. 6.1mil with something like a 12mil signing bonus (just to remain under the limit for that compensation group, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.)

Neither the Flames or Canucks have the cap space or pick to sign Benn.

Could be Ottawa or the Jets but I doubt it. I think it is just a rumour.
