The New York Islanders have re-signed defenseman Andy Greene and forward Matt Martin, and have also agreed to terms with goaltender Cory Schneider. No details have been released on the contracts yet.

Martin has spent the majority of his career with the Islanders and scored eight points in 55 games last year. It’s likely that Martin returns to his role on the fourth line for the upcoming season.

Schneider is 34 years old and split the 2019-20 season between the NHL and AHL. With the New Jersey Devils, Schneider had an .883 save percentage in 13 games, while with the AHL’s Binghamton Devils, he managed a .903 save percentage in 14 games. Schneider is likely to act as the team’s third goalie, behind Semyon Varlamov and Ilya Sorokin.

All three players are expected to participate in the team’s training camp.
