It was just announced that both Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia have been added to the Covid list. There’s no need to panic though, it can mean a lot of things, an inconclusive test can land you on there. Remember earlier in the season it happened to an Oilers player (Puljujarvi I believe?) and he was back the very next day.
However, they will definitely not dress tonight and that means a giant hole in the Habs’ line-up. No Toffoli, no KK and no Armia... It might just mean that we’ll finally get to see Frolik tonight and Dauphin is on the Taxi Squad as well. The Rocket is in Calgary right now, so there’s no recalling Ylonen or Poehling for now...
I’ll be on the lookout for any new development...
Just in: Tonight’s game is postponed to a later date, not abad thing considering what the Canadiens line-up would have look liked. This makes you wonder what new information was received to make the league postpone the game...
