My poll from earlier today had 850+ respondents, 44% wanted Chicago, 29% Los Angeles and 25% No Preference. The middle option ends up who New York will face as they fly out to the Left Coast either Monday or Tuesday to face the Kings.
New York was the first team to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals after winning Game 7 in their first two rounds. The Kings did them one better, winning a Game 7 contest in all three rounds, each on the road, to make it to the Cup Finals. Marian Gaborik and Brian Boyle get to face their old teams while Jeff Carter, Gaborik, Rick Nash, Derek Dorsett, John Moore, Derick Brassard and Anton Stralman are all ex-Columbus players.
