The San Jose Sharks may have lost the last two games but I still expect them to prevail in this series.
For my money they have more scoring prowess, depth and the better goaltender, although Pekka Rinne has been good in this year's playoffs.
Also working in the Sharks' favor is that two of the next three games, if necessary, will be played in San Jose.
I picked the Sharks prior to the series and I'm not ready to give up on them because it's tied through four games. Give me the Sharks.
Peter Tessier Momentum would seem to side with the Sharks based on their first round but that pendulum may have shifted after the two games in Nashville. The emotional high for the Preds could be all they need to carry on in this series and win it.
However 'could' is a funny word. It could imply many things. If you were the Sharks before this series and some one said you can have a best of 3 series with two games at home to decide it would you take it? That's what's left and that might be what the Sharks had hoped for as the old saying is 'you're not in trouble until you lose at home' Thus now the first team to lose at home is going to be in a lot of trouble. Advantage Sharks.
