The New Jersey Devils continue their road trip in St. Louis tonight as they take on the Blues in a battle of two teams decimated by injuries.
The Devils are without several regulars in Mike Cammalleri, Patrik Elias, Jiri Tlusty and John Moore, among others, while the Blues are missing seven players headlined by Jaden Schwartz, Paul Stastny, Jay Bouwmeester and Jake Allen.
The Blues are certainly missing more marquee names but given the production - or lack thereof - the Devils' have gotten from their depth players this season the losses they're dealing with hurt more than one would think.
Still, to this point the Devils and Blues have managed to survive the abundance of injuries they're dealing with. Both sides are over NHL .500 in their last 10 and both sides are coming off impressive road wins over Minnesota and Los Angeles respectively.

1) Joseph Blandisi showed some flashes and had a couple good scoring chances in Minnesota Sunday night. John Hynes seems comfortable giving him a regular shift in the top-6 alongside Adam Henrique and Lee Stempniak so it seems it's only a matter of time before he picks up his 1st NHL point.
2) Every defenseman in New Jersey's lineup is mobile and can make a good first pass. With the Devils' offense struggling to find the net with any regularity look for the D to jump up into the play to try and help out.
3) Kevin Shattenkirk has 24 points in 29 games following a slow start to the season. The Devils need to pay close attention to him.
The game is at 8:00 eastern and can be seen on MSG+2 and FS-MW.
