Colorado Avalanche (24-23-11) at Chicago Blackhawks (35-18-5) 7:30PM Central/6:30 Mountain CSN Chicago/Altitude
THE BUZZ
The Hawks have been playing better the last 7 games, going 4-0-3 in that span. The cloud to that silver lining is they are 2-0-3 on their current homestand. OK for most teams, kinda worrisome for a team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
How good is the Western Conference of the NHL? The Avalanche are a game over .500 and pretty close to out of playoff contention. This remains a dangerous club that can give the Hawks problems with their speed.
Nothing new on the trade rumor front this morning.
