Random Notes
- A very good breakdown on the Predators on NHL.com as part of their 30-in-30 feature.
- The Predators are being taken seriously this year in most of the preseason features… Pred Nation isn’t used to that.
- Speaking of expectations, USA Today has an article making an argument for each of the Western Conference teams winning the cup…
- Don’t forget, tomorrow night and Thursday is the fundraiser sponsored by the Junior Preds at Zanies to help out the Mielnik family. #18ForeverStrong #PlayForMitch
- With the dawning of September, you have to wonder when the Patrick Kane situation is going to progress. No charges yet, which keeps the Blackhawks in limbo.
- Patrik Berglund’s injury will keep him sidelined for about four months… bad news for the Blues, but at least it happened now versus a few games into the season when options are not as plentiful.
- The Kings signing Christian Ehrhoff was not entirely unsurprising. One year at $1.5 million sets the market for Cody Franson… and sets it much lower than he expected.
