Following the service, general manager Garth Snow announced that the rink would be renamed the Al Arbour Rink.
Former Islanders general manger Bill Torrey on Arbour: "There will never be anyone else like this man. The 3 memorials are Al's "only hat trick"
Bob Nystrom on Arbour: "Aside from my parents, he was the biggest influence on my life.... He never ever took credit for success the team had."
Arbour won 740 regular-season games and four Stanley Cups as head coach of the Islanders.
