I heard from my top source today on a few subjects. First, in response to some message board speculation regarding possible Hawk trade fodder:
"Good Lord. Keith is not being moved nor is Seabrook."
The source did NOT address other names being bandied about (Crawford, Shaw, Teravainen, Anisimov . . .). Adjust speculation accordingly.
Second, the Hawks interest may have helped Vadim Shipachyov get "the deal he wanted" with SKA St. Petersburg (no specifics).
Third, "expect the cap to go up slightly, most likely $1-2 million."
Just keeping you all updated with what I'm hearing. More as I have it.
