The Wild managed to get a point on the late Zach Parise PP goal sending today's game to OT. With that point the Wild have secured the Central Division's best points percentage as of January 10th, which means coach, Bruce Boudreau will be the Central Division coach at the NHL All Star game.
Boudreau had a chuckle when he was alerted to the fact and said that it was nice, but he would rather have the second point. He also stated that these little honors along the way are nice for a day, but the only one that anyone cares about is the big one at the end of the year.
