Will the continuing college exodus include Fox?? (hurricanes)

As teams are eliminated from the NCAA Tournament this weekend, NHL teams are being proactive in getting some of their draft picks playing in college and undrafted free agents signed. Nashville locked up 2016 first rounder Dante Fabbro (Boston U.) earlier in the week, New York signed 2018 top pick Oliver Wahlstrom after one season at Boston College and on Sunday, Montreal inked 2017 first round pick Ryan Poehling (St. Cloud St.) and Team USA WJC goalie Cayden Primeau (Northeastern). Harvard was eliminated by U. Mass on Saturday, which should bring about a decision from defenseman Adam Fox in short order. Fox was drafted by Calgary and was included in the Lindholm/Hanifin for Hamilton/Ferland deal last summer, but with Carolina’s defense loaded with the likes of Brett Pesce, Jaccob Slavin, Hamilton, Justin Faulk, Calvin deHaan, Trevor van Riemsdyk and prospect Jake Bean, Fox may not have a clear road to playing with the Hurricanes anytime soon. Speculation last week had the 21-year-old was leaning towards staying with the Crimson for his senior season, which would put him on the road to becoming an unrestricted free agent, but Fox said that he had not made a decision yet.

Will the Hobey Baker finalist sign with the Canes or will the right-handed blueliner become the Jimmy Vesey of 2020?
