Two losing nights in a row, sorry folks, that hasn't happened often this year so lets see if we can find a few winners on a small 6 game card tonight. Favs were 6-3 last with road teams and totals going under with a 5-4 edge. Analysis below.
WIN/BUFF - Kyle Connor and Nate Schmidt are in covid protocol and will miss the next 3 games. The Jets are 7-3 in their last 10 games and the Sabres are 6-4 in their last 10 games. BUFF has 4 home games over the next 6 days against WIN/NSH/FL/CAR, so tonight is the one game they might be able to pull out and BUFF won at WIN earlier in the season. Lean to BUFF +130, this line is low for a reason!
NYR/DET - Horrible letdown spot for the Rangers tonight with Detroit rested and NYR off a huge emotional game in Pitt. Rangers are 8-2 in their last 10 games, they have NYI and PHI on deck both big rivals at home. I know the Wings are 3-12 in their last 15 games but I look for them to rebound off the embarrassing loss 11-2. Lean to Detroit +125, again a very small dog for a reason, plus they won at NYR earlier this year.
LA/EDM - The Kings are off a horrible loss to SEA the other night and now they get tested on the road against an Oilers team that has gone over the total in 8 of their last 10 games. LA has 9 of their last 14 games on the road starting with this 3 game Western Canada road trip. Each team has won 5-1 head to head this year on the road too. Lean to EDM -200.
STL/VAN - This is the back end of a home and home with these two teams. Both teams are struggling big time but Demko will be in goal unlike Halak last game in STL. Lean to VAN -112 on homeice and they are off until Sunday after this one.
SJ/AZ - Both teams are really banged up but the Yotes have lost 6 in a row and the Sharks have won 3 of their last 4 games. Two horrible teams, pass for me!
VEG/SEA - Vegas won both meetings at home over SEA this season. The Knights have 2 in a row in SEA and have to bank these points to stay in the playoff chase. Lean to VEG -161.
