Hockey is back, as the Florida Panthers kick off the 2024-25 season today with a preseason double-header against the visiting Nashville Predators.
Always fun to watch the regular roster guys tune up, but especially the hopefuls battling it out for the coveted few spots that might be available.
Sounds like Maurice is working the Cup hangover out of this group since training camp started, so don’t expect a crisp outing from the Cats in Game 1.
Maurice says he’ll play more veterans in Game 1 of tomorrow’s doubleheader vs. Nashville than Game 2.
