Quick Update here...We are 26 hours from ridiculousness...
I had planned on updating the other blog, but I am starting a new blog, because this looks promising...
According to a source in Sweden, and one at the NHL offices, word is the Leafs and Nylander could be announcing an extension as early as....this evening...The deal will be MUCH shorter than anticipated and could be set up to make Nylander's trade value pretty strong...
As I was writing this I was texted "3 years probably, could be as much as 5...but more likely 3..."
That would not yet get Nylander to UFA status and give us all the joy of a possible Leafs/Nylander Sequel down the line...(hoooray)

However in putting this out there right now I can't stress enough that this situation is still very fluid and of course with tensions being so crazy high, it is more than possible that something or everything falls through....and it is always possible that we are looking at a sign/trade here...although it doesn't immediately appear that is the case...
What are your thoughts on this kids?
(Personally...I just want to be freed from the Nylander watch and go on living my life...)
